Auburn Public Library

The Auburn Public Library (APL) is developing a strategic plan to guide decisions about collections, programs, facilities and services for fiscal years 2021 through 2024.

As part of this process, the APL wants to hear from residents about what they hope to see from the library in the near future.

Residents are invited to attend one of four town hall meetings throughout August to provide input about their vision for the Auburn community and the ways in which the APL can help make this vision a reality. Dates, times and locations for these meetings are as follows:

• Monday, Aug. 12, 6-7:30 p.m. at Auburn Public Library Conference Room

• Thursday, Aug. 15, 2-3:30 p.m. at Auburn Public Library Conference Room

• Thursday, Aug. 22, 6-7:30 p.m. at Boykin Community Center Auditorium

• Tuesday, Aug. 27, 9:30-11 a.m. at Harris Center Meeting Room

Residents are also invited to complete the strategic planning feedback form, which is available at through Aug. 27. Feedback will be compiled and submitted to the Ivy Group, the consultancy firm facilitating the development of the strategic plan.
