ORDINANCE NO. 3212

AN ORDINANCE ADOPTED PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 11-42-20 ET SEQ OF THE CODE OF ALABAMA, 1975, AS AMENDED, PROVIDING FOR ASSENT BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN TO THE ALTERATION AND REARRANGEMENT OF THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF AUBURN AND ASSENTING TO THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN LANDS INTO THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY, IN RESPONSE TO PETITIONS FILED BY PERSONS OWNING ALL THE LAND AREA OF THE LANDS ANNEXED, AND APPROVING SUCH ANNEXATION.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION:

Commencing at the Northwest corner of the Northeast quarter of Section 10, Township 18 North, Range 26 east, Lee county, Alabama, South 89°24'48" East, a distance of 556.580 feet to a set 1⁄2” rebar by Precision Surveying (CA788) and the point of beginning of the portion of land to be annexed into the City of Auburn and more fully described herein; thence North 00°25'35" East, a distance of 47.47 feet to a set 1⁄2” rebar (CA788); thence South 89°39'02" East, a distance of 184.70 feet to a found 3⁄4” open top iron pin by T Richard Fuller (TRF); thence South 74°54'26" East, a distance of 63.51 feet to a found 3⁄4” open top iron pin (TRF); thence South 89°34'25" East, a distance of 338.32 feet to a calculated point; thence South 89°34'25" East, a distance of 258.43 feet to a found 3⁄4” open top iron pin (TRF); thence South 00°00'00" West, a distance of 33.95 feet to a found 3⁄4” open top iron pin (TRF); thence North 89°25'00" West, a distance of 215.55 feet to a found 3⁄4” open top iron pin; thence South 00°11'22" East, a distance of 3.41 feet to a found 3⁄4” open top iron pin; thence along a curve concave to the south having a radius of 330.000 feet and a chord which bears South 45°45'05" West 458.99 feet for an arc distance of 507.56 feet to a found 3⁄4” open top iron pin (TRF); thence North 65°48'42" West, a distance of 300.00 feet to a found 3⁄4” open top iron pin (TRF); thence North 06°55'00" West, a distance of 208.510 feet to the point of beginning.
