In accordance with the provisions of Section 11-45-8 of the Code of Alabama, the following ordinance is published in synopsis form in The Auburn Villager as follows:

AN ORDINANCE ADOPTED PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 11-42-20 ET SEQ OF THE CODE OF ALABAMA, 1975, AS AMENDED, PROVIDING FOR

ASSENT BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN TO THE ALTERATION AND REARRANGEMENT OF THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF AUBURN AND

ASSENTING TO THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN LANDS INTO THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY, IN RESPONSE TO PETITIONS FILED BY PERSONS OWNING ALL THE

LAND AREA OF THE LANDS ANNEXED, AND APPROVING SUCH ANNEXATION.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION:

Parcel I:

Commence at the Northwest corner of Section 22, Township 18 North, Range 26 East, Lee County, Alabama; run thence South 01 degrees 34'06" West for 3075.66 feet to an iron pin found and

the POINT OF BEGINNING of the parcel of land to be herein described and conveyed: From said point of beginning, run thence South 00 degrees 55'48" West for 127.27 feet to an iron pin

found; run thence South 01 degrees 02'19" West for 511.15 feet to an iron pin found located along the Northeasterly margin of Lee Road 026: run thence along the margin of said road as

follows: North 08 degrees 08'3l" West for 212.11 feet to an iron pin set; North 19 degrees 38'11" West for 230.39 feet to an iron pin set; North 21 degrees 57'59" West for 231.84 feet to an iron pin

set; leaving margin of said road, run thence South 88 degrees 58'59" East for 205.55 feet to the iron pin found at the POINT OF BEGINNING:

Parcel II:

Commence at the Northwest corner of Section 22, Township 18 North, Range 26 East, Lee County, Alabama; run thence South 01 degrees 34'06" West for 3075.66 feet to an iron pin found;

run thence South 00 degrees 55'48" West for 127.27 feet to an iron pin found and the POINT OF BEGINNING of the parcel of land to be herein described and conveyed: From said point of

beginning, run thence North 85 degrees 36'35" East for 250.80 feet to an iron pin found; run thence South 61 degrees 56'01" East for 143.87 feet to an iron pin found; run thence South 07

degrees 03'2l" West for 596.09 feet to an iron pin found located along the Northerly margin of Lee Road 026; run thence along the margin of said road as follows: North 82 degrees 35'36" West

for 261.67 feet to an iron pin set; North 29 degrees 21'52" West for 109.27 feet to an iron pin found; leaving the margin of said road, run thence North 01 degrees 02'19" East for 511.15 feet to an

iron pin found at the POINT OF BEGINNING.

The properties intended to be described herein are further shown as Parcels A & B, respectively, on that certain Boundary Survey for Kenneth Hood, prepared on I 0/09/02 by Zack

Sprayberry, Ala. Reg. Land Surveyor No. 12933.

ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Auburn, Alabama, this the 20th day of December, 2022.
