Avenue, Auburn, Alabama, and then publicly opened and read for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the completion of the following project:

Boykin Renovations Phase II - Clinic

The project consists of the renovation of existing spaces, with an exterior vestibule/mechanical area addition. A new pharmacy, restrooms, exam rooms, etc. are to be

constructed in existing vacant spaces of the Boykin Community Center. New interior finishes, removal of windows and replacement with masonry/storefront

openings. New electrical, mechanical, and plumbing modifications. Exterior site improvements including new sidewalks, asphalt paving, parking lot

reconfiguration, etc. Note: The Building shall be occupied throughout the Construction Period. Ingress/Egress is required at all times, and the General Contractor

shall maintain all required entrances and exits as required by code throughout the Construction Period. The Contractor shall plan for required afterhours and / or

weekend work to avoid tenant conflicts in regard to utility and access shut down.

There will be a PRE-BID MEETING at 10:00 a.m. local time on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at the Boykin Community Center located at 400 Boykin Street, Auburn, AL

36832. Bidder’s interested in this project are strongly encouraged to be present or a have a company representative present at the pre-bid meeting.

Plans, specifications, and contract documents are open to public inspection, free of charge, in the Office of the City Engineer, located at 171 North Ross Street, Auburn,

Guarantee will be required with each bid in the amount of at least five percent (not to exceed

$10,000) of the amount bid in the form of a certified or cashier's check or bid bond payable to the City of Auburn, Alabama.

All bidders are required to be compliant with the Beason-Hammon Alabama Taxpayer and

Citizen Protection Act, Act No. 2011-535 (Code of Alabama (1975) § 31-13-9) as amended May

16, 2012 regarding employment practices.

The successful bidder is responsible for acquiring the appropriate business licenses and permits to conduct work within the City of Auburn.

Your attention in particular is invited to the "Instructions for Bidders", which is to be followed in all respects. The City reserves the right to select the lowest

responsible bidder as is in the best interest of the City, to award the purchase contract from any of the bids, to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informalities in
