TO: All citizens of the City of Auburn, Alabama, and other interested persons:

Take notice that the Auburn Board of Zoning Adjustment will meet on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Auburn Public Safety Department, located at

141 North Ross Street, Auburn, Alabama. The Board will hear a request from Kenneth Thornton for a variance to Section 511.03 (J), Use Limitations on Accessory Uses of the City of

Auburn Zoning Ordinance. The request is for a variance of one hundred thirteen (113) percent (976 sq. ft.) to the required fifty (50) percent (432 sq. ft.) to allow residential accessory

structures to be one hundred sixty-two (162) percent (1,408 sq. ft.) of the primary structure’s floor area (864 sq. ft.). The subject property is located at 1131 Lakeview Drive and is zoned

Development District Housing (DD-H).
