NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO: All citizens of the City of Auburn, Alabama, and other interested persons:
Take notice that the Auburn Board of Zoning Adjustment will meet on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Auburn Public Safety Department, located at
141 North Ross Street, Auburn, Alabama. The Board will hear a request from Michael and Mary Alicia Clifton for an appeal to the Planning Director’s zoning ordinance non-use
interpretation that a performance residential development use (townhome subdivision) is not permitted within the Conservation Overlay District (COD) per Section 518 of the City of
Auburn Zoning Ordinance. The requirements for appeals to the Planning Director’s zoning ordinance interpretation are located in Section 908 of the City of Auburn Zoning Ordinance.
The subject property is located at 2449 Moores Mill Road and is currently in the Rural (R) zoning district with an overlay of the Conservation Overlay District (COD) designation.
