In accordance with Title 11-52-77 of the Alabama Code, as amended and the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Auburn, notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Auburn will

hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Auburn Public Safety Department located at 141 North Ross Street. The purpose of the public

hearing is to consider the following:

AN ORDINANCE TO FURTHER AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 1883 OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, DATED DECEMBER 21, 1999, AS AMENDED, TO REZONE PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE

TERMINUS OF WESTOVER STREET, WEST OF MILL CREEK ROAD. THIS IS A REQUEST TO REZONE APPROXIMATELY 4.87 ACRES FROM RURAL (R) TO DEVELOPMENT

DISTRICT HOUSING (DDH).

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Auburn, Alabama, as follows:

Section 1. That Ordinance No. 1883 of the City of Auburn, Alabama dated December 21, 1999, as amended by subsequent amendments is further amended in the following respect:

The zoning map of the City of Auburn, Alabama, which is made an exhibit to and is a part of said Ordinance No. 1883, is amended to rezone approximately 4.87 acres from Rural (R) to

Development District Housing (DDH).

Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval by the City Council or upon its otherwise becoming law, but shall be published as required by law and codified as part of the

Code of Auburn, Alabama.
