TO: All resident citizens of the City of Auburn, Alabama, and other interested persons:
Take notice that the Planning Commission of the City of Auburn, Alabama will hold a meeting on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. Central Time, by means of the Zoom video conferencing web application. Said hearing will be to consider a request from Foresite Group, Inc., on behalf of PSM Holdings, LLC and TD Development, Inc for an amendment to the Charter Commercial Center (Hamilton Place) Planned Development District, located on the northeast corner of Hamilton Road and Ogletree Road. This is a request to amend the Planned Development District to add 4.21 acres, more or less, and allow 33,000 square feet of office use.
The property in question is more specifically described as follows:
Commence at the Southwest corner of Section 34, Township 19 North, Range 25 East, thence North 78°47'32" East, a distance of 102.20 feet to an iron pin located at a half inch rebar set by Chris B Fulghum (CBF) located at the intersection of the Northerly right of way of Moores Mill Road and the Easterly right of way of Hamilton Road and the Southwest corner of Parcel B3, Redivision of Parcel B, Fred P Moore Subdivision herein to be described: from this POINT OF BEGINNING, thence along the Easterly right of way of Hamilton Road North 49°31'28" West, a distance of 82.52 feet to a set half inch rebar (CBF); thence continue along the Easterly right of way of said road North 13°17'28" West, a distance of 251.60 to a set half inch rebar (CBF) at the beginning of a non-tangent curve to the right of the Easterly right of way of said road said curve being concave to the east having a radius of 437.50 feet and a central angle of 29°24'17" with a chord measuring North 00°31'58" East 222.07 feet thence northerly along said curve, a distance of 224.53 feet to a point of cusp to a found 1 1⁄2” open top iron pin at the Southwest corner of an Alabama Power Company substation parcel; thence along the Southwestern line of said parcel to a South 75°58'09" East, a distance of 167.71 feet found 1 1⁄2” open top iron pin at the Southeast corner of said parcel; thence North 11°27'32" East, a distance of 125.54 feet to a found 1 1⁄2” open top iron pin at the Northeast corner of said parcel and the Northerly line of parcel B3, herein described; thence along said Northerly line South 79°30'58" East, a distance of 866.50 feet found 1 1⁄2” open top iron pin at the Northeast corner of said Parcel B3; thence South 07°56'29" West, a distance of 436.11 feet to a found half inch rebar with a illegible cap located in the Northerly right of way of Moores Mill Road; thence along said Northerly right of way, South 89°07'02" West, a distance of 860.98 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Containing 11.78 Acres, more or less. And;
Lot B2A of a Resubdivision of Parcel – B2 of a Redivision of Parcel B of Fred P. Moore Subdivision, according to and as shown by map or plat of said subdivision of record in Town Plat Book 38, at page 93, in the Office of the Judge of Probate of Lee County, Alabama.
