NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO: All citizens of the City of Auburn, Alabama, and other interested persons:
Take notice that the Auburn Board of Zoning Adjustment will meet on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 4:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Auburn Public Safety Department, located at 141 North Ross Street, Auburn, Alabama. The Board will hear a request from Robert Poole for three (3) variances to Table 5-2: Lot Area, Setback, Bulk Regulations and Parking Requirements. Neighborhood Conservation District, of the City of Auburn Zoning Ordinance. The first request is for a variance of five feet (5’) to the minimum side yard setback requirement of twelve feet (12’) to allow a garage addition to the home to be seven feet (7’) from the west property line. The second request is for a variance of five feet (5’) to the minimum side yard setback requirement of twelve feet (12’) to allow an addition to the home to be seven feet (7’) from the east property line. The third request is for a variance of eleven feet (11’) to the minimum total side setback requirement of twenty-five feet (25’) to allow the property to have a total side setback of fourteen feet (14’). The subject property is located at 343 E Samford Ave in the Neighborhood Conservation district (NC-11).
