TO: All citizens of the City of Auburn, Alabama, and other interested persons:
Take notice that the Auburn Board of Zoning Adjustment will meet on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at 4:30 p.m. Central Time, by means of the Zoom video conferencing web application. The Board will hear a request from Matt Rabren, of Rabren General Contractors, Inc., for a variance to Section 707.04.(1.), Limits on [a nonconforming use] Expansion, of the City of Auburn Zoning Ordinance. The nonconforming use is approximately 10,896 square feet in area. The request is for a thirty-eight percent (38%) increase, or 4,140 square feet, to the maximum area of expansion limit of twenty-five percent (25%), or 2,724 square feet, to allow a nonconforming use to increase its area by sixty-three percent (63%), or 6,864 square feet. The subject property is located at 306 Persimmon Drive in the Rural (R) zoning district.
