NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AUBURN CITY COUNCIL May 19, 2020
7:00 P.M.

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 23-4-2 of the Code of Alabama that the City Council of the City of Auburn will conduct a public hearing during the regularly scheduled City Council meeting on Tuesday, May 19, 2020, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Auburn City Council Chambers located at141 North Ross Street, Auburn, Alabama 36830 to receive the benefit of public input concerning a proposal to vacate an undeveloped portion of Bonny Glenn Road for the Brentwood Subdivision. Any citizen alleging to be affected by the proposed vacation may submit a written objection to the Auburn City Council or may request an opportunity to be heard at the public hearing.

Commencing at a 1.5" open top iron pin found at the Southwest corner of Section 27, Township 19 North, Range 26 East, Auburn, Lee County, Alabama, thence South 00°26'32" East, a distance of 262.38 feet to a found 1⁄2” rebar at the Northeast corner of Lot 340, Moores Mill Subdivision 2nd Addition Phase 2, Plat Book 21, Page 26; thence along the North line of Lot 3, Golden Pond Subdivision in Plat Book 24, Page 77 South 83°19'45" East, a distance of 190.81 feet to a found 1⁄2” rebar by Roger D Robertson, said point being the Northeast corner of said Lot 3 and the point of beginning of a portion of Bonny Glenn Road to be vacated and more fully described herein; thence North 01°02'31" East, a distance of 50.24 feet; thence North 58°36'30" East, a distance of 209.31 feet; thence South 72°23'30" East, a distance of 41.66 feet to a point in the Western Proposed right of way for Brentwood Lane; thence along Brentwood Lane South 54°30'02" East, a distance of 72.59 feet to the beginning of a curve tangent to said line; thence southeasterly an arc distance of 181.05 feet along the curve concave to the southwest, having a radius of 475.00 feet and a chord measuring South 43°34'52" East for a distance of 179.96 feet; thence South 32°39'43" East tangent to said curve, a distance of 129.078 feet to the beginning of a curve tangent to said line; thence southeasterly an arc distance of 16.12 feet along the curve concave to the west, having a radius of 30.00 feet and a chord which measures South 17°15'47" East, 15.93 feet; thence leaving said proposed right of way and following the South and West right of Bonny Glenn (being vacated) North 40°30'51" West, a distance of 162.45 feet; thence South 50°10'14" West, a distance of 10.00 feet; thence North 40°10'18" West, a distance of 144.86 feet; thence North 72°23'30" West, a distance of 88.13 feet; thence South 58°36'30" West, a distance of 203.769 feet; thence North 83°19'45" West, a distance of 12.32 feet to the point of beginning.
