NOTICE is hereby given that a bill substantially as follows will be introduced in the 2019 Regular Session of the Legislature of Alabama and application for its passage and enactment will

be made:

A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT

To alter, rearrange, and extend the boundary lines and corporate limits of the Town of Notasulga in Macon County and Lee County.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:

Section 1. The boundary lines and corporate limits of the Town of Notasulaga in Macon County and Lee County are altered, rearranged, and extended to include within the corporate limits

of the municipality, in addition to the lands now included, all of the following territory:

Commencing at the Northwest corner of Section 34, Township 19 North, Range 24 East, Lee County, Alabama, said point being the North corner of the Norman Property described herein:

from this POINT OF BEGINNING, thence along the line between the Cope Property and the Norman Property South 34°58'31" East, a distance of 2191.72 feet to a point in the Northwest

right of way of Alabama Highway 14; thence along Highway South 49°08'58" West, a distance of 300.00 feet to the Cardwell Property; thence along the Cardwell Property North 40°51'02"

West, a distance of 660.00 feet; thence along the North line of the Cardwell and the Sargent Property South 49°08'58" West, a distance of 660.00 feet; thence along the West line of the Sargent

Property South 40°51'02" East, a distance of 660.00 feet to the Northwest right of way of Alabama Highway 14; thence along said Highway South 49°08'58" West, a distance of 58.87 feet to the

beginning of a curve tangent to said line; thence southwesterly an arc distance of 140.45 feet along the curve concave to the northwest, having a radius of 1912.09 feet; thence leaving said

right of way along the Suncrest Laboratories Property North 34°39'00" West, a distance of 343.26 feet; thence continue along said Suncrest Property South 49°56'06" West, a distance of 207.78

feet; thence continue along said Property South 00°03'54" East, a distance of 366.45 feet to a point in the Northwest right of way of Alabama Highway 14; thence along said right of way South

Containing 738.5 ACRES, more or less.

Section 2. In accordance with Section 11-42-6(b) of the Code of Alabama 1975, a map showing what territory is proposed to be annexed to the Town of Notasulga is on file in the office of the

Judge of Probate in Macon County and Lee County, Alabama, and the map is open to the inspection of the public.

Section 3. This act shall become effective on the first day of the third month following its passage and approval by the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
